CRASH

The world became a drum and the lightning was painful to look at. Was it bell head again? Angry or sad... or scared like everyone else?
It was supposed to be her weekend, where she could sit and read or draw... or throw paint at a wall and call it art. Godrake's footsteps could be heard from outside her closed home door. A knock, then another and then, just like that he opened the door. Felicity was much too lazy to care. "Hello, Drake." She murmured calmly, sipping cocoa.

He sat next to her, grabbing the cup from her hand and taking a sip. "It's a good day for a story. Tell me a story, oh wise kitty cat."

Her ear twitched, the ones that usually were sheltered from view in her top hat. "A story? I'll tell you a story alright." The green candles flickered almost perfectly, another crash of thunder. ..And then just like that she began to spin a tale, a scary tale.

"A long time ago, in a dreary town not yet shut out from the other world known as the realm of humans.. Lay an old hospital that sat over one half of the neighborhood and the other over the human side. It was used as an insane ward- freaks roamed the halls singing songs about death, cut themselves like it was the last day of life and drew things upon the old walls until they were just painted over again. Everyday one person would go missing- until eventually no one remained. But the strangeness of it all was that there was no murderer as previously suspected." She paused, making herself comfortable.

Drake rolled his eyes in sarcasm, looking at her like she was completely insane. "You know that was an old wives tale taken off the back of a cereal container."

Felicity rose up her finger and placed it to her lips to silence him. "...As Decembersville closed from the other side.. the hospital was slowly engulfed until half of it only remained. Rooms lay empty and dimly lit, as if someone would return to use it. Use it like always. But no one came.." She sighed, looking at her claws with thought. "A child by the name of Lobert went in to explore, just for a little while. But he never came back nor did anyone choose to look for him. It was sad- very sad. But some say, if you survive it's walls and make it to the end where the vast wall of smoke lies you will see them all staring at you with sad eyes." She finished, scratching her ear.

Drake shook his head, sighed and crossed his arms. "That's just a cereal box wives tale. A filthy story about a non-existent 'hospital'."
He finished off Felice's cocoa and sat it upon the small side table. "Whatever a hospital is."

"Haven't you read books?" She pointed at her bookshelf. "I have an entire collection of old Decembersville fliers and stories."

He shrugged, getting up to put the cup by the smallest of sinks.

A knock came from the door below. They weren't open today so who in the heck could it be? Why didn't they use the back door?!
Felicity stood, walked out the open door and clambered down the wooden staircase. That same blue haired fellow stood behind the glass with an afraid smile. She rose her brow and cocked her head to the side to see what was up. "Oh.. er.." She went to open it, peering her head out in the process.

The blue haired man bowed his head and bashfully brought a coin forward. "I forgot to give this to you. I apologize for any sort of troubles I brought to you, miss."

Felicity smiled humbly, She closed his hand. "I appreciate the offer.. Mister...Mister.." She paused, looking up at him with raised brows. "Oh right- please call me Felicity, Felicity Winklefaust." She kissed his hand- what was she? A mood swinger?

"Maurice... Maurice Centric."

"Well Mister Centric, I know what you can do to repay me." She let one brow drop, grinning a hint evily. She watched as the blue haired man walked backward yet kept his humble smile.

"Yes ma'am?"

"Mind going on a little walk with my cousin and I to a very lovely place?"

"I suppose a walk would be very nice, Miss Winklefaust."

25 minutes from then...

"Why are we even going here when it doesn't exist?" He groaned miserably, throwing his hands up as they turned the bend out of the neighborhood and to the curved sign that read: Decembersville.

"It exists! I've seen it!" She argued, forgetting her lovely little guest.

"What exists?" Maurice continued to say behind them as the cousin duo argued endlessly about absolutely nothing.

Soon the trio made it to the place in which it was said to sit. Fog covered the area so heavily that even the rain didn't dare penetrate it. It scared Felicity beyond scared because as soon as they reached it- the fog rolled away like a curtain revealing the hospital.. so it did exist.

The front of the building was completely rusted- it was made out of metal and bricks. The sign was rusting, parts of the letters fell off as if they were melting, the welcome sign was ripped apart like claws had gotten to it, bricks were missing and the doors were broken in leaving a gaping black hole with the smallest sign of light on the inside. Was this a bad idea anyway? Yes it totally was but someone had to free some souls or at least let them know that they could move onto wherever they moved onto. But maybe, just maybe they were frozen in time.

Godrake grabbed Maurice's hand on accident, squeezing it for dear life. "OH NO I CAN'T NOO- I THINK I PEE'D MYSELF.. OH. oh... hello there.." He looked at the blue haired boy and gulped, blushing as red as a rose. "I mean... umm... er..." He put his hand off of his.

Maurice stepped over closer to Felice, now afraid of him more than the hospital itself.

"Let's go in, gang." She walked forward, lighting the lantern in her hand with green fire.
Yay chapter 2! This was fun to write.. I can't wait for them to go into the Hospital. C: I had this idea in my head all day.
